When Jaguar launched its XK8/XK in 1998, it was pulled from the dust and polished up from the exotic sports car that Jaguar produced in the 1960s.

The XK8 replaced the XJS design, as Ivy at NW Posh points out, and yet the 2 cars are pretty similar.
